Our primary school and kindergarten are situated in Jarovce. It is a small village in the suburbs of Bratislava, the capital of Slovak Republic. There are approximately 300 pupils in our school and 105 in our kindergarten. Most children from our kindergarten continue at our school. We have perfect cooperation between pre-primary and primary education. It simplifies the transition of a child from the kindergarten to the first class. Our pedagogical staff consists of 45 teachers and we provide general education for children between the age of 3 to 15 years old. At the moment, there are 16 pupils with special needs, mainly with learning disabilities or behaviour problems. We also actively educate 8 pupils from Ukraine. There is a high number of new inhabitants moving to Jarovce. In the last 8 years, the number of pupils at our school has doubled, and the number will be growing.
